At the time, he was only being **substituted, not replaced**, even returning for select shows in September. He later announced he’d be taking **2025 off** to focus on personal growth and reflect on his future with the band. However, things seem to have changed dramatically in the past few months. The first real clue came from Stringer himself, who hinted at his departure in an Instagram post promoting his annual tattoo designs, saying, “These will be the last Amity paintings I’ll ever make.” When asked by a fan if he was leaving, Stringer replied, “Wasn’t my choice.” Then, on January 29th, he posted a more direct statement: 👉 “Hi everyone, as you who follow me know I’m not touring with the band I started, The Amity Affliction.
